Aged for versatility and perfect for cocktails or drinking neat, this rum is bourbon-like on the nose with sweet grains and oak, and a smooth, warm finish. Parce Rum was founded in 2012 by Jim Powers and his brothers Patrick and Brian. While Parce is based in Chicago, the juice is distilled in Panama using sugar cane harvested from Colombia, Trinidad, and Panama. When distillation is complete, it’s then shipped to Colombia where it’s blended, racked, and aged by master blenders (and father & son duo) Arthur and Brojen Fernandes Donecq. For every bottle sold, Parce plants a tree to protect biodiversity and prevent deforestation in Colombia. The rum itself has received some of the most prestigious spirit awards in the world including 6 top honors at the 2015 San Francisco World's Spirit Competition.
