You’d think ice cream would be Jeni’s favorite dessert, but it turns out it’s pineapple upside down cake. Go figure. Anyways, this pint is an ode to the dessert and features a lush pineapple cream base that's swirled with dark caramel, a sweet-meets-tart cherry sauce and, of course, vanilla cake bits.
Founded in 2002, Jeni Britton Bauer set out to craft artisan ice cream using whole ingredients and dairy from grass-pastured cows, sparking a movement in frozen desserts more than a decade before it would become a top food trend.
