This crispy Santa Barbara Sauvignon Blanc duo comes from (funny enough) two sets of winemaking duos. Lieu Dit's vintage is made by Eric Railsback and Justin Willet, and Land of Saints' is made by husband-and-wife winemakers Angela Osborne and Manuel Cuevas.

Why You'll Love It:

We're drinking these down chilled with some light tapas, perhaps a kale caesar, or some shrimp scampi. A crisp Sauvignon Blanc is like "required reading" for sunny afternoons. Both hailing from California, the Lieu Dit balances the maturity of Sancerre and the tropical zestiness of New Zealand wonderfully, while the Land of Saints shows the zippy, citrusy, sunny side of Angela Osborne's collaborative winemaking prowess.

What's Inside

Land of Saints, Sauvignon Blanc

100% Sauvignon Blanc with taste notes of sour apple, pear, fresh grass, and lemon peel.

Why You’ll Love It

It's tough to find this excellent of a Sauvi B with this price point. The wife/husband makers Angela Osborne and Manuel Cuevas chose to raise this wine in neutral barrel instead of stainless steel, helping the wine not be too overly ripe while imparting a wonderful zippy minerality.

Lieu Dit, Sauvignon Blanc

Grapefruit, lime zest, honeydew melon and slate.

Why You’ll Love It

This Sauvi B is Lieu Dit’s approachable flagship, and balances the maturity of Sancerre and the tropical zestiness of New Zealand wonderfully. Sourced from three vineyards in Happy Canyon in Santa Barbara County, it’s the variation in micro-climates and of the terroir (grown from sand, to shale, to serpentine rock, to clay, to yellow chert) that makes the final product truly one of a kind.
